Before you dial
Small questions that decide the first call.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Nothing is required. If you have a recent deck, a past article or a style guide, email it ahead; it saves roughly ten of the 25 minutes.
Can you sign my NDA before we talk?
Yes. Email it to info@lyceumletters.com and we countersign before the scoping call, so you can speak about the real subject from minute one.
Can I just drop by the studio?
Visits are by appointment, which keeps the hour reserved for you. Leave a voicemail or use the form and we’ll propose times.
How do video calls work?
We work on Eastern Time. You get a calendar invite with a video link, or we dial the number you give us. Either way the call is recorded only with your say-so.
What do I have in hand after the call?
A topic map for your first four pieces and a fixed quote in writing, whether or not you sign. Packages bill 50% at kickoff and 50% on delivery of the final piece.
The brief · reply within one business day
Write the brief. We’ll book the call.
Three lines are enough. We read the brief before we propose times, so the 25 minutes go to your argument, not to introductions.
- Line 1The claim the first piece should argue.
- Line 2The reader: job title, company size, the decision in front of them.
- Line 3Your deadline, if a launch or a conference sets one.
